Explore all ORB offerings

  • Music distribution

Submit singles, EPs and albums to supported stores with lossless audio, artwork, metadata, dates and collaborator credits. Stores control acceptance and availability.

  • Free trial and paid artist plans

Free provides one first single with a 30-day window from approval. Paid Artist, Artist Plus and Label & Team subscriptions start at quarterly billing and add plan-specific tools.

  • Included track credits

Free has one one-time credit. Artist includes 5 credits per billing cycle; Artist Plus includes 5 credits per billing cycle; Label & Team includes 15 credits per billing cycle. Drafting is free; submission reserves credits and approval uses one credit per track.

  • Extra track credits

Paid subscribers can buy additional track credits from their ORB Wallet: ₦250 per track on quarterly billing, ₦500 on six-month billing, or ₦1,000 on annual billing. That averages ₦83.33/month per extra track, not ₦85. These are add-on charges alongside a paid plan, not a standalone ₦83.33 monthly subscription. Active catalog tracks above the plan allowance may also incur extra-track charges at renewal. Ordinary extra credits do not provide lifetime distribution or replace optional Track Coverage.

  • Track Coverage

Optional paid release-specific coverage, purchasable with an active paid plan, protects a verified covered release from subscription-related takedown without renewal. Ordinary credits are not coverage; rights and store policies still apply.

  • Royalty splits

Agree per-track collaborator shares totaling 100% on every plan. Recipients accept by email without an ORB account. ORB takes 0% royalty commission; payouts are separately managed.

  • Royalty Wallet and withdrawal requests

Review reported earnings and transaction history, save payout details and request eligible manual withdrawals with email verification. Supported routes, currency, charges and eligibility follow the current payout policy.

  • Streaming analytics

Paid artist plans provide available store-reported streams, tracks, territories and earnings. Reporting is not real time and does not guarantee streams.

  • Audience insights

Eligible paid artists can review available platform and territory audience reports to inform release and promotion decisions.

  • Release links and pre-save

Eligible paid artists can access official release destinations and supported pre-save links. Store and release-state availability determine which links can be shared.

  • AI cover artwork

Eligible paid artists generate, refine and preview release artwork. Artwork still requires rights permission and store-compliant quality.

  • Promotional graphics and Promo Canvas

Eligible paid artists create promotional posts, Stories and 14-second vertical teasers with selected track audio from eligible releases.

  • Meta and Google/YouTube campaigns

Available on every plan with a separate campaign budget. Artists choose budget, audience, destination and creative; ORB reviews and manages delivery and reports available results. Streams are not guaranteed.

  • Catalog transfer

Active paid artists can prepare and resubmit an existing catalog using original audio, artwork, metadata and identifiers. Store matching, existing streams and uninterrupted availability are not guaranteed.

  • YouTube Content ID requests

Eligible Artist Plus and Label artists request Content ID for qualifying releases with exclusive rights. YouTube decides eligibility and claims. This is separate from channel monetization and OAC.

  • YouTube Official Artist Channel claims

Eligible verified Artist Plus and Label artists can request OAC after at least three live official ORB releases on YouTube and the required channel confirmations. YouTube controls approval.

  • Label and artist-roster management

Label & Team adds roster management, a custom label and multi-artist analytics. Unlimited roster artists does not mean unlimited included track credits.

  • Copyright review and DJ mix requirements

Release rights review requires original rights or valid permissions. DJ mixes require source and license evidence and are excluded from Content ID. Review does not replace copyright or publishing registration.

  • Artist profiles and store-profile guidance

Learn how to claim Spotify for Artists and Apple Music for Artists profiles and manage eligible ORB public artist-page information. Stores control their profile approval.

  • Artist support

Get help with release preparation, account questions, royalties and eligible service requests. Private support conversations are not public crawler content.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is ORB Entertainment?
ORB is a music operating platform for independent artists and labels: distribution, royalties, release tools, promotion, graphics, analytics, and team workflows in one workspace.
Who can use ORB?
Independent artists, producers, DJs, managers, and labels can use ORB when they control or have permission to distribute the recordings and artwork they submit.
How do I create an ORB account?
Create an account, verify your email, complete the requested artist or label details, and use the release workspace when your profile is ready.
Why does ORB ask me to verify my identity?
Verification helps ORB protect artist accounts, confirm payout ownership, and review rights information connected to releases. The information requested can vary by account and action.
What does the Free plan include?
Free includes one first single release creation and one one-time track credit, not recurring credits. Never-paid Free trial releases have a 30-day distribution window from approval, not the scheduled release date. ORB takes 0% royalty commission on Free as well as paid plans.
How do paid plan credits work?
Artist includes 5 track credits per billing cycle; Artist Plus includes 5 track credits per billing cycle; Label & Team includes 15 track credits per billing cycle. Credits are counted per track, not per album. Creating or editing a draft does not charge credits; submission reserves credits and each approved track uses one credit. Check the release requirements before submitting.
Does ORB take a commission on royalties?
ORB takes 0% royalty commission on every plan, including Free. Artists keep 100% of royalties reported to ORB by stores. This does not guarantee a fixed payment per stream or eliminate separate subscription, withdrawal or currency-conversion charges. Collaborator shares follow the agreed split.
Can I buy extra track credits?
Paid subscribers can buy additional track credits from their ORB Wallet: ₦250 per track on quarterly billing, ₦500 on six-month billing, or ₦1,000 on annual billing. That averages ₦83.33/month per extra track, not ₦85. These are add-on charges alongside a paid plan, not a standalone ₦83.33 monthly subscription. Active catalog tracks above the plan allowance may also incur extra-track charges at renewal. Ordinary extra credits do not provide lifetime distribution or replace optional Track Coverage.
Are extra track credits the same as Track Coverage?
No. Extra credits add release capacity alongside an active paid subscription. They do not provide lifetime distribution or protect a release from subscription-related takedown. Track Coverage is a separate paid add-on assigned to an eligible release, and verified coverage remains valid without subscription renewal.
How do I get my music on Spotify from Nigeria?
Create an ORB account, upload lossless WAV or FLAC audio and square cover art, add the release metadata and collaborator credits, select Spotify and submit for review. ORB approves submitted releases within 24 hours; Spotify controls processing and final availability. Choose a release date at least 11 days from submission; 14 days is recommended. Plan allowances and rights requirements still apply.
What audio files does every track need?
Every track needs audio in WAV or FLAC format. Lossless audio is required for distribution; MP3 and AAC are not accepted by streaming stores.
What are ORB artwork requirements?
Cover art is square and normalized to 1400 × 1400. Artwork must also meet applicable store size, quality, rights, and content rules.
How much lead time should I allow?
The minimum release date is 11 days from submission; 14 days is recommended so there is room for review and store processing.
How long does ORB review take?
ORB approves submitted releases within 24 hours. Stores control their own processing and final availability timelines, so approval is not a guarantee of a specific live date.
Can I change metadata after submitting?
Some metadata can be corrected during review. Once a release is approved or delivered, changes may require a metadata update request and store processing.
Which stores can receive my release?
ORB distributes eligible releases to a broad network of music services, including Spotify, Apple Music, TikTok, Boomplay, YouTube Music, Tidal, Deezer, Amazon Music, and more.
Where do my royalties appear?
Royalties reported by stores collect in your ORB Wallet and can be reviewed through the wallet and reporting views.
How are royalty withdrawals paid?
Local bank destinations use the bank's supported local currency. Wire, PayPal, and Payoneer destinations use USD. ORB processes requests after email-code verification, and the original ledger amount remains unchanged until ORB has an FX quote.
Who processes withdrawals?
Withdrawals are paid-plan requests, verified with an email code, and processed by ORB team after the request and payout details are reviewed.
Which currency is used for a withdrawal?
A local bank destination uses its supported local currency. Wire, PayPal, and Payoneer destinations use USD.
Does currency conversion change my ledger amount?
No. The original ledger amount remains unchanged until ORB has an FX quote for the receiving payout route.
Why has my withdrawal not arrived yet?
ORB processing, payout verification, banking rails, and the receiving provider can all affect timing. Check transaction history and contact support if the status needs review.
What can I see in ORB Analytics?
Analytics brings together available store-reported performance such as streams, audience activity, territories, and revenue across your catalog.
Are analytics real time?
No. Store reports arrive on their own schedules. ORB displays the latest reports it has received and labels the reporting period where available.
Can labels view roster analytics?
Label and team workflows are designed to help authorized teams review roster activity and catalog performance from one account.
Can I export a report?
Use the report controls available in your account to review or download supported analytics data. Availability depends on the report and account access.
What is an ORB Release Link?
It is a shareable page that gathers your release’s available platform destinations in one place, so fans can choose their preferred service.
When can I create a release link?
Create a link from an eligible release once ORB has the release information and store destinations needed to build the page.
Does ORB support pre-save pages?
Yes, eligible releases can use pre-save pages where the selected store and release state support that flow.
Can I share a release link before the release date?
Yes. A pre-release link or pre-save page can be shared ahead of launch when it is available for the release.
What are royalty splits?
Music royalty splits record the agreed percentage of recording revenue allocated to each collaborator, such as an artist, producer or featured performer. ORB supports per-track shares totaling 100% on every plan. Recipients can accept invitations by email without an ORB account. Acceptance does not mean an automatic payout; ORB manages payout processing separately.
When should I add split participants?
Add participants and confirm their percentages during release creation, before submission, so everyone’s agreed allocation is clear.
Do I need a Label plan to split royalties?
No. ORB royalty splits are available on every plan, including Free, Artist and Artist Plus. Only artist-roster management requires Label & Team. Collaborators can accept invitations without creating an ORB account.
Can a label manage multiple artists?
The Label & Team plan includes roster management and tools for working with multiple artists under a label workspace.
Does a split change ORB’s commission?
No. ORB takes 0% royalty commission. A split describes the participants’ allocation; it does not create an ORB commission.
Can I transfer an existing catalog to ORB?
Eligible paid artists can request a catalog transfer to ORB while preserving the identifiers and metadata needed to reduce the risk of losing existing store history.
What should I prepare for a catalog transfer?
Prepare your current release metadata, audio and artwork, store links, and identifiers such as ISRC and UPC where available.
Will my existing streams move automatically?
Keeping identifiers and matching metadata can help stores associate the new delivery with existing history, but stores control matching. Your existing stream history is not guaranteed to transfer.
Can I transfer only some releases?
Transfer requests can be scoped to the catalog you want to move; eligibility and the exact process are reviewed by ORB team.
What is AI Cover Art?
AI Cover Art helps eligible paid-plan users generate and refine a release artwork direction, preview it, and receive a normalized 1400 × 1400 JPEG.
Can I use any AI-generated image as a cover?
No. AI artwork still requires rights and policy review. Only use artwork you are allowed to distribute and ensure it meets store requirements.
What is Promo Canvas?
Promo Canvas creates a vertical 14-second teaser from an eligible approved release, with release context designed for social sharing.
What promotional graphics can ORB create?
Promotional Assets can create release-ready visual formats such as a Promo Canvas teaser, Instagram post, and Instagram Story from eligible release artwork and metadata.
What advertising does ORB manage?
ORB manages eligible Meta campaigns across Facebook and Instagram and Google video campaigns on YouTube from the ORB workspace.
How does ORB charge for music promotion campaigns?
Choose prepaid funding to pay for the campaign upfront, including the displayed fee, with no automatic refill charges. When your checkout country, payment provider and card support automatic refills, the first media funding and applicable fee are charged at checkout, then further authorized card charges can be made as funded media runs low. You see the actual checkout amount in the supported local currency before paying.
When does an ORB automatic ad refill charge my card?
It is based on remaining funded USD media balance, not a clock time. The default trigger is 30% of the daily media budget: $3 remaining for a $10/day campaign or $30 for a $100/day campaign. Provider spend reporting can be delayed, so a charge is not guaranteed at the exact balance. The refill amount and maximum total card debits are separate limits shown for authorization before checkout.
Can I change my automatic refill trigger to $2 or $5?
After the ads are submitted and approved, you can change the trigger in Campaign settings, including after a previous refill. A trigger cannot be below 30% of the daily USD media budget: on a $10/day campaign, $2 is not allowed, but $5 can be saved. On a $100/day campaign the minimum is $30. You must confirm the change; a higher trigger may cause a card charge soon if the funded balance is already low.
What limits automatic refill charges?
Before checkout, you authorize the first funding, refill amount and maximum total actual card debits, including the first charge, fees and currency conversion. Refills cannot exceed that cap or the campaign media target. You can disable future automatic refills in Campaign settings; that does not undo charges already made. Changing the balance trigger does not change the refill amount or total charge cap.
Does ORB guarantee campaign results?
No. ORB reports results from the advertising provider, but reach, clicks, streams, and other outcomes are not guaranteed.
What happens if my campaign is rejected?
ORB reviews the campaign before activation. If it is rejected, you can correct the details and submit again without paying again. Approved campaigns lock delivery edits, but eligible refill settings remain editable in Campaign settings.
What is YouTube Content ID?
Content ID can identify eligible uses of your recording on YouTube and apply claims through the relevant rights workflow.
How do I request Content ID?
Content ID is an eligible per-release request. Open the eligible release, confirm the rights information, and submit the request for processing.
Is every release eligible for Content ID?
No. Eligibility depends on the release, rights ownership, and YouTube’s policies. ORB and YouTube determine whether a request can proceed.
Do I need exclusive rights for Content ID?
You must confirm the rights required for the request, including exclusive control where applicable. Do not submit material you cannot authorize.
How do I contact ORB support?
Use the support and contact paths in the ORB website or your account. Include your artist ID, release details, and a clear description so the team can investigate.
How does ORB protect my account?
Use a unique password, verify your email, keep payout details private, and never share email verification codes. ORB may request information to confirm account ownership.
What should I do if I see a suspicious login?
Change your password, review account and payout details, and contact ORB support promptly with the account information needed to investigate.
Can ORB guarantee store approval or playlist placement?
No. ORB reviews releases against its requirements, while each store controls acceptance, processing, editorial decisions, and final availability.
What happens to my music if I stop paying for ORB?
Subscription-funded releases, including tracks submitted with ordinary extra credits, become eligible for removal after subscription inactivity and advance notice of at least 30 days. Check your catalog for the scheduled removal deadline. Releases with verified, paid Track Coverage are protected from subscription-related takedown even if you stop renewing. Never-paid Free trial releases have a separate 30-day distribution window from approval. Rights and store policies still apply.
What is Track Coverage and who can use it?
Track Coverage is an optional paid add-on for a specific eligible release, purchasable only with an active Artist, Artist Plus or Label & Team subscription—not Free or lapsed accounts. Verified, paid coverage protects that release from subscription-related takedown without continued renewal; rights and store policies still apply. The Nigerian base price is ₦38,750 per track before volume discounts: 5% off 5–9 tracks, 10% off 10–14 and 15% off 15 or more. Checkout provides a server-issued local-currency quote. Apply coverage while preparing a release or to an eligible existing release. Ordinary extra credits are not Track Coverage.
